Kevin Sparks Trio

Inspired by visionary watersheds from Booker Little to Woody Shaw to Ambrose Akinmusire - the Kevin Sparks Trio (this week featuring the great Rob Barnes on electric bass and multi-style guitfiddlist Ross Whitaker) largely adjusts post-‘59 standards. The ensemble shifts between a drummerless chamber vibe and little celebrations in so-called world rhythm. You don’t want to miss it!
