DJ Prism

Prism is a busy man. Brand builder. Entrepreneur. International DJ. Even though he was born and bred in the great state of Kentucky - where he is still based out of today, the guy definitely gets around.

Influenced by the age of five hip-hop pillars and turntablism yesteryear, Prism kicked off his career from a college dorm room and grew to become the story every young DJ hopes to live out.

2013 showcased Prism's appeal when he played along side Steve Angello, A-Trak, Shermanology, Manufactured Superstars, Vice, Dj Scene and countless others.

It's been a hard time coming, but paying dues pays off. Today, Prism's sonic intuition speaks for itself and is top of mind for every type of club owner due to his encyclopedic knowledge of generes new and old.

Cosmic Collective

You don't want to miss the Cosmic Collective’s return trip to Lexington, KY!

The cosmic collective is a transmuting ensemble of jazz musicians anchored on multi-instrumentalist bandleaders nikki elias and tyler enslow. The group’s effervescent chemistry evolves from performance to performance contingent upon the accompanying star sidemen, making each show a truly unforgettable, unique, and personal experience.

A brilliant constellation in the Nashville sky, the cosmic collective has been featured on Greg Pogue’s ACME Radio Nashville Jazz Show, headlined the Murfreesboro Jazzfest, and frequently performs at Rudy’s Jazz Room and Gray’s on Main, among various other local venues. This exposure along with the group’s effortless blend of high-caliber musicianship and bona fide performances secured the cosmic collective a prominence within the greater Nashville area which merited the group a Nashville Industry Music Award (NIMA) nomination for “Best Jazz Group” in 2018.

Having established strong roots in the Nashville jazz scene, the cosmic collective continues to expand its horizons with alacrity, headlining the Garden Gate Jazz Festival in Huntingburg, Indiana, performing as the house band for Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan, and periodically partnering with distinguished artists such as Derrek Phillips, Don Aliquo, Paul Horton, and Victor Wooten on the stage. In the recording studio the group also boasts impressive pairings with renowned artists Doug Mosher, Jonathan Rogerson, and Matt Endahl, even collaborating with saxophonist Jeff Coffin on their debut eclectic electric jazz album, Abstract Notions.

Big Easy Friday with EWQ!

Eric Wurzelbacher - Saxophone/ Composition

Andrew Haug - Piano

Justin Dawson - Bass

Charlie Schefft - Drums

Eric Wurzelbacher is a Cincinnati - based saxophonist who was classically trained while attending the College Conservatory of Music (Cincinnati) and named one of the top 10 saxophonists in the nation through the United States Army Solo Competition in 2012. Through his time in college, he became fixated on composing and found jazz and improvised music as an ideal outlet while being fortunate enough to share the stage with a number of inspiring artists including Fareed Haque (Garaj Majal), John Labarbera, and Matt Wilson (with Jeff Lederer).

After graduating in 2015, Eric toured Europe for a number of months while playing on cruise ships. Realizing his true passion for composing and playing his own music, Eric has since been touring the country with his self- titled group and released two albums as a band leader and composer: "Eco Quartet" (2017) and "Power" (2018); "Maya" (2019) is set to be released this summer.

Eric has been surrounded by the music business for his entire life, but not on the side that you might expect. Growing up and working in a family business that constructs stages for festivals (one of them being the Newport Jazz Festival) around the country exposed Eric to music and a way of life that he would have never experienced otherwise.

As a product Eric's midwest childhood spent listening to classic rock and grunge, his music and playing style has been described as an art form that "harnesses the intensity, power, and deliberate transitions of rock, while still remaining highly improvised in the spirit of jazz"
